    • In Memory of Thomas Muse ''Tom'' Barham Thomas Muse ''Tom'' Barham March 16, 1917 - August 3, 2006 Mr. Thomas Muse Tom Barham, 89, a resident of East Commerce Street in Lewisburg, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Barham will be conducted Monday, August 7, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Reverend James Hickey and Reverend Carl Price officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. The Lincoln County native was the son of the late James and Winnie Muse Barham and was the widower of Edith Hayes Barham who died in April of 2000. He was retired owner and operator of Moss & Barham Mens Wear and former employee of Murray Moss Store of Lewisburg and Marsh General Store of Petersburg. He was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association, having raised the 1966 World Grand Champion, SHAKERS SHOCKER. For many years was the tailor for Tennessee Walking Horse trainers throughout the Middle Tennessee area. He was Past Master of the Dillahunty Lodge Number 112 of F&AM, a member of the Almenah Shriners and the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Lewisburg Housing Authority Board for several years and was a member of the Lewisburg Lions Club and the East Commerce Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Betty Mike Kavanagh of Hendersonville, TN; three grandchildren, Tiffany Mike Donovan and Michelle Kavanagh both of Hendersonville, TN, and Michael Kavanagh of Hermitage, TN; two great grandchildren, Fisher Edward Donovan and Analeigh Elizabeth Donovan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; care giver and friend, Agnes Bishop of Lewisburg, TN. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabern McGee. Pallbearers will be Steve McPherson, Jack Adams, Ted Harris, Bill Gold, Roy Petty, and Jerry Baxter. Honorary pallbearers will be David Allen, Ed Scott, Marie Harrison, Bob Lowery, Clebert Glasscock, Marshall Miller, and Bruce Ramsey. Memorials may be made to the East Commerce Baptist Church, 560 East Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 or American Lung Association of Tennessee, One Vantage Way, Suite C-250, Nashville, Tennessee 37228.
