  Walter was hit in the stomach while playing Baseball and recieved an internal injury that proved fatal. In a Letter from Anna Mae and Bill (last name unknown as it is not in the letter) " I asked Victor about Walter Reynolds, your father's brother. vic, aid he was 18 years old and played baseball all the time, that he got hit with a ball, in his side and abdomen and was hurt real bad. Peritonitis set in and at that time there were no antibiotics or medications for those kind of deals and he died. " (July 20, 1983)
