Peggy Reed QUITMAN - Services for Peggy Reed, 76, Quitman, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Royal Valley Funeral Home chapel, Quitman. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Reed died Jan. 5, 2009, in a Quitman hospice. She was born on May 3, 1932, in Kaufman to the late Clarence and Luetter Tidwell. She retired from Richardson Independent School District and moved to Quitman in 1993. She was a member of the Garden Club, and was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Raymond Keith Reed. Survivors include her children, Michelle Stegman, Pittsburg, Lisa Dominguez, Quitman, Douglas Reed, Wellsville, N.Y., Vivian Petty, Rockwall, Kay Padron, Princeton, and James Reed, Garland; brother, Ray Tidwell, Garland; more than 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
