QUERY: I am just getting the Reynolds Family Circle website back on line and thought I would start the queries out with one from a few years ago.

I have been looking for the parents of William Reynolds for over 40 years now without any luck. I have several cousins who have told me that his father was James William Reynolds from Virginia, but have not been able to prove this. First recorded information that I have is that he married Jane Milliken in Green County, Tennessee on August 23, 1790. I know he moved to Bedford County, Tennessee and died there in June 1808.

I have saw several postings on Ancestry.com that William's parents were James and Susannah Lindsay but have found no documentation to back it up. Hopefully DNA will be able to confirm or deny this

William was a blacksmith and he and Jane had the following children:
