Richard Charles Reynolds (don't know his parentage) m. Alice Hodges in Colleton County SC I think. They had three boys and one girl, Alice Vernelle Reynolds (my g'mother) before they divorced.

QUERY: Does anyone know of a J.H. Reynolds who was born in Georgia in 1845/48? He was called "Jake" but I never saw anything official using anything but J.H. He supposedly married a D.K. Hudson. They had a son called James Pack. I don't know if the Pack was his real name or short for Patrick as I have seen it officially both ways. James Pack said he was born in Meriwether County, Ga. He married Fannie Salmon and died in Troup, Smith County, Texas in 1954. James Pack was my grandfather. Granddaddy Jake died in Wood County, Texas in 1915.

I recently ran across the original Vogue record color advertisement in a 1945-46 book that showed the artist to have signed the ad work "Carl REYNOLDS Jr."

QUERY: I am researching the line of Tilmon Reynolds. His name is spelt Tilmon on the Alabama Land Patent. It has been known to spell it Tilmon/Tilman/Tillmon/Tillman. Tilmon was born in 1803 in South Carolina. This information comes from a census and has not been confirmed. The earliest record of Tilmon is he is living in Troup County Georgia in 1850 with his family. He married Elizabeth Moore, b. 1813, place of birth and marriage unknown. Unknown parents of Elizabeth.

Tilmon moved his family to Randolph County Alabama after 1850. The land patent in Alabama reads that it was issued in 1859. This would be three years before the civil war made it's way to Troup County Georgia.
Lucinda M. Reynolds, daughter of Tilmon, went on to marry David Franklin Huddleston who was from Randolph County Alabama.
